Open Source Home Energy Management System

The hardware

OSHEMS is built on top of a Raspberry Pi microcomputer.

The Raspberry Pi is equipped with a hat developed by Unipi which adds I/O to it. Everything is installed in a robust and aesthetic metal case.

OSHEMS uses the official Raspberry Pi OS Lite operating system with no modification.

OSHEMS uses the Docker engine to quickly deploy isolated and secure containers.

OSHEMS has many ready-to-use containers thanks to Docker compose.

Telegraf, Mosquitto, InfluxDB, Nodered, Home assistant, Jeedom and many more.

You can write you own docker-compose.yaml and use it in OSHEMS.
